The Cloud system is multi-currency, that is, when paying at the cash desk, you can choose to pay in different currencies. A mandatory requirement when initially creating a currency is to indicate its rate relative to the default currency. The default currency can only be one and its rate should be equal to one. For currency designation, a coding system proposed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the largest global developer of international standards, is used. According to ISO 4217 standard, currencies are given a three-letter code: the first two letters denote the country, and the last one – the currency of that country. For example, USD: US – United States, D – Dollar. In addition to the letter standards, it also contains digital currency codes. When creating currencies in the Cloud application directory, this encoding should be taken into account.
