Düsseldorf, Germany, became the epicenter of retail innovation, bringing together leading industry experts at the EuroCIS 2025 exhibition. Among the participants was Dmitry Agapov, CEO of CHM Software, who shared his impressions and key moments from the visit.
EuroCIS: a platform for innovation and partnerships
EuroCIS is not just an exhibition, but a real center of technological solutions for retail and catering. CHM Software regularly participates in such events around the world, and Düsseldorf was no exception.
Main objectives of the visit
- Overview of POS solutions trends: both software and hardware.
- Search for new equipment: for recommendations to CHM Software partners around the world.
- Expansion of the partner network: meetings with old and new partners, discussion of new markets for the PayKit POS product.
CHM Software last visited EuroCIS in 2019. This year, it was important to understand whether PayKit POS meets modern trends. And the answer is unequivocal – yes! Our product not only meets market requirements, but is also preparing for an even greater breakthrough in 2026.

Trends 2025: What’s changed since 2019?
The world of retail is evolving rapidly, and EuroCIS 2025 was a prime example of how technology is shaping new standards. Compared to 2019, when CHM Software last attended the event, the market has undergone significant changes. Here are the key trends we identified:
1. Compact POS solutions
In 2019, most POS systems were bulky and required a lot of space for installation. However, today compact and modular solutions dominate, saving space and providing convenience for customers and staff.
PayKit POS fully complies with this trend. Our system is designed with modern requirements in mind, which allows it to work effectively in both small retail outlets and large supermarkets. We actively cooperate with leading equipment manufacturers to provide our customers with the most modern solutions.
2. Self-service checkouts
In recent years, the number of self-service checkouts has increased significantly, especially in the retail and catering sectors. This trend is associated with the growing demand for speed of service and minimizing contact between people.
CHM Software already has a successful solution for retail, and soon we will introduce PayKit self-service checkout for HORECA. This solution will allow catering establishments to automate the ordering and payment process, reduce queues and increase customer satisfaction.
3. AI in retail
Artificial intelligence is becoming an integral part of retail. Companies such as Toshiba and Rongta are actively implementing AI for product recognition, customer behavior analysis and service personalization.
PayKit POS will also feature AI elements to help our customers improve business management efficiency.

Partnerships: new horizons
PayKit POS already cooperates with many POS equipment manufacturers presented at the exhibition. It is worth noting the meetings with partners that allowed us to discuss new contracts and enter new markets. In particular, a representative of WinTec recommended paying attention to the markets of the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Thank you to Dmitry Pukhov for the valuable recommendations!
An unexpected but very pleasant meeting was with Viktor Proshunin, the founder of one of the largest equipment importers in Ukraine. Discussion of cooperation covered a wide range of areas: from classic POS systems to mobile cash registers and self-service cash registers.
EuroCIS 2025 was an important milestone for CHM Software. We not only confirmed our competitiveness, but also outlined new areas of development. CHM Software is moving forward, shaping the future of retail together with you!
